Whatever it takes- Imagine Dragons- This song describes Jon’s rise to be a leader and eventually becoming Lord Commander and his betrayal of the wildlings
If I die young- The Band Perry- This song is about Jon’s death scene and the betrayal from the men of the nights watch
Living- Dierks Bentley- This song is describing Jon’s resurrection and new life that he gets to live
Wide Awake- Katy Perry- This song is about revenge, which is what Jon got on his brothers that some kindly murdered him.
Keep the Family Close- Drake- I believe that this song represents Jon and Sansa reuniting for the first time.
Hold on, we’re going home- Drake- This song represents the time where Jon and Sansa are preparing for War, leading into the battle of the bastards
The Reason- Hoobastank- This song represents Jon’s love for Daenerys and why he ultimately decides to bend the knee
Survival- Eminem- This song represents everything that Jon goes through with the white walkers including their final battle and ultimate victory over the common enemy
One man can change the world- Big Sean- This song to me is a good representation of what Jon could do as a rightful heir to the throne. Jon was the only one that could stop Daenerys
Everything has changed- Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran- This song represents the change that Jon notices inside of Daenerys and is ultimately what makes him to decide to kill her, it was for the greater good

Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen- Love Story or Stockholm Syndrome?

Let me preface this with, I love both Khal Drogo and Daenerys as characters. I think they both have unique personalities and of all the plot lines you have to keep straight during the first season, theirs is the easiest and most entertaining (it may also help that Jason Momoa is pretty easy on the eyes).  So now that I have shown you a lovely photo of Jason Momoa killing it as Khal Drogo- lets get to the part you may not like. He’s trash for the first part of season one. I know I know I just told you that I love his charcter but you can blame the adaption from book to the small screen for this statement. Khal Drogo bought Daenerys…he bought her. I think its hard to come back from that but arranged marriages still happen in todays time so while that part is horrible, I can kinda see it being reddemable based solely on the fact that it was the “norm” of society. The rape scene in the show though…trash. I just want to know how many women were helping make the adaption and were like ‘yeah

The Rains of Castamere (Piano)

     The sky was hidden by a sheet of sticky fog from the morning’s rain, dark clouds just behind it threatening for another night of storms with thunder and rain. After sharing a stolen bottle of ale from tavern of your brother, you stumble into the old chapel just east of the village.          The soul that follows you inside has only known you for a couple of moons, but with the pungent liquor still thick in their throat, they follow you into the church where piano carved by withering bastard sits to the left of the alter. The two of you sit on the bench, gasping when it tilts slightly from the weight of you both but managing to still keep you both upright. Their fingers touch the dusty keys of the instrument after you accept the bottle of ale they hold out for you to grab by the bottleneck.      As you tip back your head to take a swig, they play a melody you didn’t know you had heard tales about. A tale of impending doom; of power and merciless judgement.

Ned Stark: The Honorable Fool, Lawful Stupid

I am new to Game of Thrones . When I started reading the first book and saw the opening of the show, I love, loved the first words spoken by that man, “The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword.” So heroic! I wondered who the dude wearing fur with the heavy beard was. I found out who he was. It was Ned Stark. Lord of Winterfell. Warden of the North. A great Father. A loving husband. A justifiable and honorable man. Men like him are rare. He meets all the Prince characteristics that Disney displays in their movies. Trust me. I know. I grew up with Disney movies. That strong opening line made me immediately think and feel, “Oh yea, there’s a hero.” Ned Stark is a rustic, chivalrous man, a true knight in shining armor. In the first episode, it is clear that he has a happy life with his family. In the book, Game of Thrones and Philosophy, Irwin and Jacoby describe Ned’s life in the North: “Remaining steadfast in his commitment to honor and virtue…he spent decades in a lo
